The past few weeks have been heart wrenching. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the victims of the Boston marathon bombings and their families.
A local fund to help Stoneham victims of the tragedy has been established through StonehamBank. The MBTA has established a fund to support Officer Richard Donohue who grew up in Winchester and was critically wounded during the shootout in Watertown. Mayor Menino and Governor Patrick have also created the One Fund Boston to provide assistance to all the marathon victims.
This has been a busy month at the State House, with the legislature tackling transportation financing and the FY14 state budget.
